Ayr Mount, HillsboroughDonated to the Classical American Homes Preservation Trust by Richard H. Jenrette, who purchased and restored this showplace of decorative arts, Ayr Mount is being managed and planned for by Preservation North Carolina. Ayr Mount is open for tours and special events.
Bellamy Mansion Museum of History & Design Arts

Bellamy Mansion, WilmingtonDeeded to Preservation North Carolina in 1993, this well-known mansion has been restored after a devastating fire and now houses a museum of North Carolina history and design arts, open to the public for tours and special events.
Banker's House, ShelbyDonated with an endowment by George and Nancy Blanton to Preservation North Carolina subject to life estate, this fine Second Empire mansion has benefited from the Blantons' careful stewardship since 1937. Preservation NC will provide for long-term care of the property.
Coolmore Plantation, TarboroGiven by Joe C. Powell and Mary Collins Powell, this National Historic Landmark property is being maintained and occupied by a descendant of the original builder under a long-term lease to ensure its preservation and will be periodically opened to the public.
El Nido, ShelbyDonated by Evelyn Ray Gibbs, this landmark Mission-style home is undergoing renovation through a long-term Resident Curator lease, the first of its kind in North Carolina.
