Our friends at Triangle Modernist Houses — a Raleigh nonprofit documenting and celebrating the region's amazing collection of modern homes — are going to the movies this winter with four architect-oriented films at Cary's Galaxy Cinema.

The scheduled films and dates are:

Thurs., Jan. 14: Ayn Rand's classic The Fountainhead

Thurs., Feb. 18: The romantic drama The Lake House, starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock

Thurs., Mar. 18: Infinite Space, a new documentary feature about visionary genius John Lautner

Thurs., Apr. 22: Visual Acoustics, a documentary on architectural photographer Julius Shulman  (date rescheduled from December)

Showtime for all movies is 7:00 pm. Advance tickets are $7.95 each, or $23.95 for the four-movie series.
