Big Plans for Rockingham County Museum |

"Building a state-of-the-art museum out of an old courthouse built in 1907, completed in 1908, and finding the funding to support it seems like a daunting task, but one that Kim Proctor is taking on full time.
Recently named as director for the county museum, Proctor is busy securing grants, taking inventory of the county’s artifacts and working toward important accreditations for the museum. She said in addition to allowing her to be close to her 18-month-old granddaughter, Rockingham County has a wealth of resources, material and culture that brought her to this position."
