| Columbus Co. Courthouse will have architectural assessment |

Columbus County officials met on February 15 to discuss the future of the county's historic courthouse and voted to have an architectural assessment done to decide if a new courthouse is needed or if the current building can be restored. Regardless of the outcome of the assessment, county officials say the courthouse will not be torn down. (WECT 02/18/10) |
