Engineer Dave Fischetti was best known as the man who moved the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. But preservationists across North Carolina and beyond knew him as funny, generous, and always supportive. Time after time, when detractors claimed that some building was beyond saving, Dave would be there to say otherwise. And who could argue with him? After all, he moved a lighthouse. He will be greatly missed. |
