"You've got to admit it. There's nothing picturesque about a house built in the 1920s next to a behemoth structure like the new Guilford County Jail.
But that is what you see when you get to the corner of Edgeworth and Washington streets in downtown Greensboro.
The mountainous jail hovers above the historic Zenke home, the last of four houses that had to move when the jail project started.
Christopher Zenke's mother owns the house. He and the city of Greensboro agree the Zenkes own the land where the home currently sits.
But it's still jacked up off the ground."
