McDowell House Joins Overmountain Victory Historic Trail

McDowell News (9/28/2008)
In 1780 Joseph McDowell helped lead the Overmountain Men at the Battle of Kings Mountain. Now the National Park Service has included his home as part of the Overmountain Victory Historic Trail.
