| Plans to save Sunset Beach bridge |

"Sunset Beach town leaders have come up with two plans to save the town's historic swing bridge. It's one of the few remaining bridges of its kind in North Carolina. A 'pier plan' would turn the 50 ft. bridge into a fishing pier near its current location. The second option is a 'park plan'." News14 (August 13, 2010) |
