Save College Hill

Residents of Greensboro's College Hill neighborhood are fighting a proposed student housing complex planned for the historic neighborhood.  The development would cost $45 million and span almost 10 acres.  Many of the neighborhood's residents are against the project because of its scale and density and are fighting it by wearing buttons and placing signs in their yards with the message "Save College Hill."  The Zoning Commission voted against the project, but this decision is being appealed by the developer.  The Greensboro City Council will be hearing the appeal on Tuesday, April 6 at 4:30 pm and many College Hill residents will be attending to oppose the rezoning appeal.
