Trolley tour highlights historic homes in Shelby |
|
"A craftsman bungalow with unique brickwork, an old farmhouse, 1940s “kit” houses, one of the first two apartment buildings in Shelby, a school, ball field and fountain all have something in common now.
They’re all part of Shelby’s National Register district designation for the West Warren Street neighborhood.
More than a handful of area residents got the chance to see the homes and other buildings in the district, thanks to a trolley tour offered by the Historic Shelby Foundation."
