"After attempts to save two historic homes on Corban Avenue failed, both homes were burned by the Concord Fire Department last week. Efforts to save the J.W. Propst House and the John Cline House in Concord began in 2005 when representatives with the Piedmont Preservation Foundation asked Cabarrus County commissioners to take action to save the homes."
