Durham school windows becoming residential art |
|
34-year-old Efland artist and former Durham resident, Dave Alsobrooks, is working on a
project called New Neighbors. He plans to decorate windows of four
homes and the former Y.E. Smith Elementary School building with
paintings of Bull City residents. When the installation is finished in
October, he hopes to see his work auctioned off, with the proceeds
benefiting Preservation North Carolina.
