Group looks to raise $1 million for purchase of historic Edenton building |

Edentonians are working to save what
was once one of the towns most revered homes Pembroke Hall. Pembroke Hall Preservation Partners, LLC aims to come up
with $1 million, enough to buy the house as well as pay for necessary
repairs and property tax. So far, the group has raised $700,000, more than enough to buy the
house. But it is far short of the funds needed to pay for renovations
and taxes on the property. So, they are seeking other investors who can
help with those costs.
