Local heritage, food, music, and architecture will come together in Greensboro for Bluegrass at Blandwood.

The celebration will take place each Sunday afternoon in September, from 2:00–5:00 PM, at the historic Blandwood Mansion in downtown Greensboro.

Admission is just $5 and children under 12 are free!

September 7: The Biscuit Burners  a Mountain Apart winner of Award for Best Roots CD of 2005 by the Indie Acoustic Project.

September 14: Polecat Creek winners of the neo-traditional contest at the 2006 Appalachian String Band Festival. Opening act: Trailmix Bluegrass

September 21: Greensky Bluegrass winners of the 2006 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition. Opening act: Alley Rabbits

September 28: David Via three-time winner of theMERLEFEST Songwriter's Award. Opening act: Andy Eversole with Special Guests
