The Joel Lane Museum House Presents Lizzie Lane's Colonial Tea.
Location: 160 S. Saint Mary's Street, Raleigh, NC (at the corner of Hargett), which is two blocks south of Hillsborough St., not far from downtown.
At the tea, in the beautiful "colonial" gardens at the Joel Lane Museum House, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, and granddaughters will learn the etiquette of taking tea and cakes in colonial times. After tea, they will have a chance to participate in early American crafts, games, and dancing. Henry Goodman, fiddler, will provide live music. To purchase tickets, please call the number below with MasterCard or Visa, or mail a check made out to Joel Lane Museum House, Inc. to the post office box number listed below. Tickets are non-refundable unless we must cancel the event.
