For owners of properties legally protected by Preservation North Carolina, please see the bottom of this page. Preservation NC's Historic Properties Emporium section is available to owners and realtors of historic properties who wish to advertise property for sale. We provide an opportunity for buyers nationwide who are specifically interested in historic buildings to view your properties. Many of these buyers welcome historic buildings that are well maintained and already rehabilitated. Conditions of Historic Properties Emporium Advertisements PLEASE NOTE: Effective January 1, 2009, the Ad Rate will be changing to $165.00. Additional photos, scanning charge, and charges for changes made once the ad has been posted will remain as detailed below. Rates are as follows:
Please note that additional charges apply if changes have to be made to the ad once it has been uploaded to the website.
You can receive a 20% discount (on the ad price) if you are a member of PNC. If you're not a member you can join online. If you are already a member, please indicate this on your completed advertising agreement. Web ads will be uploaded to the site two weeks from the date of receipt into the PNC Headquarters office and remain on the page until the property sells or one year, whichever comes first. The advertiser agrees to notify Preservation NC when the property sells. Advertised properties should be historic buildings--generally 50 years or older or deserving special consideration for architectural merit. Preservation NC does not accept advertisements for properties that have not yet reached these milestones. Instructions for Advertising Your Property in the Historic Properties Emporium 1.) Preservation North Carolina reserves the right to edit materials submitted for publication. 3.)
