The Tar River Center for History and Culture at Louisburg College is pleased to announce its 2016-2017 lecture series, Historic Preservation: Building Community and Enhancing Prosperity.
There is the last lecture given as part of this series. It will be held in the Benson Chapel of Louisburg College. The Annual Joseph E. Elmore Lecture on Thursday, March 30, 2017 will be:
“African American Artisans in North Carolina and the Tar River Valley”

All are free and open to the public, and parking is available in front of the Chapel and adjacent to the Jones Performing Arts Center. Both parking areas are accessible from College Street.
