Raleigh – Preservation Celebration at the Crabtree Jones House

Sunday September 10
11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Save the Date of Sunday, September 10 for your first chance to see the newly-rehabbed Crabtree Jones House!  This impressive and highly significant Federal house is the oldest home still in residential use in Raleigh.  Built in 1810, the Crabtree Jones House was moved by Preservation NC from its original site in early 2014 in order to be saved (see the time-lapse video of the move by clicking here), and then sold to wonderful buyers, Matt Hobbs and Katie O’Brien, who have been working nonstop to complete the full rehab of the house.  We are grateful for their efforts to save this important property and can’t wait to celebrate with them and you on September 10!
