Murfreesboro Historical Association Candlelight Christmas Tour and Dinner

The Murfreesboro Historical Association is please to announce that its 33rd Annual Candlelight Christmas Tour will be held December 7th and 8th, 2018. Hours, both days – 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Recapture and experience the traditions of Christmas in the past. Stroll along candlelit streets and hear yuletide music. Tour the Murfreesboro Historic District and enjoy a progressive dinner.
Sites on the tour will include the Roberts-Vaughan House, the Agriculture/Transportation Museum, the Village Print Shop, the William Rea Museum, the Evans Tin Shop, the Vincent-Deale Blacksmith Shop, the B.B. Winborne Country Store, the John Wheeler House and our newest “old” attraction, the Dr. Walter Reed House.
The festive dinner will be served in the Murfree Center with dessert following in Hertford Academy. The Murfreesboro Historical Association hopes to provide you with an insight into the colonial celebration of Christmas with its simple customs and natural beauty. Please join us for this sentimental return to the 1800’s.
Ticket Prices: Adults $35.00 (16 and over) Children $10.00 (6 and under free)
