1939 Circle Event at The Crabtree Jones House, Raleigh

Saturday March 21
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Preservation North Carolina’s 1939 Circle (a name that commemorates the year of our founding) acknowledges donors who contribute $2,500 or more each year. Donors at this level are invited to a special event each year, a small way we can recognize our appreciation for their generous support.

This year’s event will be held at the historic Crabtree Jones House in Raleigh, hosted by PNC Vice Chairman and Chair-Elect Matt Hobbs and his wife, Katie O’Brien. Long-time supporters will recall the acquisition and relocation of this significant ca. 1810 house, made possible through a partnership between Preservation North Carolina and the Raleigh Historic Development Commission in 2014. Matt and Katie completed a detailed restoration of the house where they reside with their family. For their tenacity and success, they received the Gertrude S. Carraway Award of Merit in 2017.

1939 Circle Donors will receive a printed invitation by mail.
