The Murfreesboro Historical Association is pleased to announce
The 37th Annual Candlelight Christmas Tour

Friday, December 8th
from 5:00pm – 8:00pm 

Enjoy candle-lit walkways, live greenery decorations, horse-drawn carriage rides, a blacksmith demonstration, refreshments and live music. We hope to provide you with an insight into the celebration of Christmas featuring simple customs and natural beauty.

Sites on the tour in the Historic District include the Agriculture and Transportation Museum, Murfree-Smith Law Office, Village Print Shop, William Rea Museum, Evans Tin Shop, Vincent-Deale Blacksmith Shop, Winborne Country Store, John Wheeler House, and Hertford Academy as well as the Roberts-Vaughan House and the Dr. Walter Reed House both located on Main Street.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online HERE or in person at the Roberts-Vaughan House, 116 E Main Street, Murfreesboro. Office hours are 9:00am – 1:00pm Monday – Thursday. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance.

Tickets for access to the historic buildings and the horse drawn carriage ride are $25 when purchased before December 3rd. Children under 12 do not need a ticket. Beginning Monday, December 4th and during the tour tickets are $30. All ticket sales are final.

This tour is also offered on Saturday, December 9th from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
